This criterion is optional.  It is not necessary for a candidate to complete this particular criterion for certification.

Many experts and craftsmen learn their skills directly from a practitioner who has already mastered a specific role.  Doctors have interns, tradesmen have apprentices and police have rookies.  This criterion recognizes the contribution toward learning a role by coaching and mentoring.  Counterpart training is simply the exchange of information between individuals performing the same or similar roles under corresponding conditions.

INSTRUCTIONS:

A — Points per hour of counterpart training

B — Minimum number of points to attain credit

C — Maximum number of points attainable
