$2,650.00 of $4,000 Raised
As most of you are aware, Sid Heal and R.K. Miller will be stepping down from their positions on the board of directors after many years of tireless service. In this regard, it is the board’s intent to recognize their years of dedicated service by presenting them with a gift that will always remind them of their service to our organization and our appreciation for their accomplishments. In researching some of our options, we determined that Sid recently built a professional woodshop in his garage and that he is considering purchasing a wood engraving machine. R.K., on the other hand, having no significant skills, is setting plans to complete his lifelong dream of visiting the Normandy beachhead.
Identify options that will allow us to fund these two end states. The board’s proposal is that, as an organization, CATO allocate $1500 towards each gift, with the goal of raising a total $4,000.
A separate account has been set up for Sid and R.K. with an initial allotment of $1500 for each account. We would like to raise the balance by soliciting donations from outside sources. To this end, we have set up an internal “go fund me” page that can be accessed through the attached link.
Access to this link is by invitation only and all donations will remain confidential. At the present time, only active board members (to include Ken Hubbs, Mike Hillman and Tim Anderson), and active Regional Representatives will be sent this email. However, we are open to suggestions if anyone wants to propose some other names.
NOTE: Sid and RK are not aware of our intent and should not be contacted in any way shape or form! All of our efforts must remain classified.
Please contact me directly if you have any questions or concerns.
